ILLA S.p.A. consolidates its presence in the USA

New orders for 0,6 million USD for 2020 on top of the 2 million

already received from US

Noceto (PR), 10th September 2020 - ILLA S.p.A. - a leading company in the production and marketing of aluminum cookware with non-stick coating, listed on the AIM Italia Market of Borsa Italiana S.p.A. - received a new order worth 0.6 million USD from an important USA customer.

As anticipated on May 29th 2020, on the occasion of the approval of the 2020 full year results, the Company over the course of a few months, succeeded to enter a new important market like USA supplying a customer leader in the cookware sector in that area.

"I am particularly satisfied with this third order we received from the US market - declares Pierpaolo Marziali, CEO of ILLA - it consolidates a relationship with this commercial partner and confirms our commitment to business and product development, on which we have spent many resources. In 2019 Illa had revenues for about 29 million euros for the entire year, with the IKEA customer accounting for about 50% of the global turnover. For this year, strongly affected by the Covid-19 crisis , we expect to close the year at around 25 million euros, with IKEA standing at around 3 million euros, compared to 14/15 million euros in 2019. As mentioned - continues Martial - building new and, hopefully, lasting relationships with new customers requires a lot of commitment from an industrial as well as a commercial point of view: but we think that these costs will be repaid through future developments with new customers. Illa has been producing non-stick coated aluminum pots and pans for over 70 years. Since 2010 the production takes place in the large plant of Noceto (PR). The company counts among its customers some of the most important distribution chains worldwide, for which it produces products under their own brand. In addition to the non-stick aluminum cookware, it is also active in the production of steel coffee makers and in the distribution of a wide range of kitchen products. The Group consists of two companies, Nuova Illafor Srl - for over 50 years the Italian leader in the application of non-stick coatings - and Illa SpA, founded in 1946, a leading manufacturer of non-stick aluminum cookware. Since 2015 Illa SpA has integrated Giannini, a well- known brand of Italian design-oriented cookware. In 2017 the Illa Group was listed on the AIM Italia of Borsa Italiana.

ILLA S.p.A. consolida la presenza negli USA

Nuovi ordini per 0,6 milioni di USD per il 2020 in aggiunta ai 2

milioni già ricevuti dagli Stati Uniti

Noceto (PR), 10 settembre 2020 - ILLA SpA - azienda leader nella produzione e commercializzazione di pentolame in alluminio con rivestimento antiaderente, quotata al Mercato AIM Italia di Borsa Italiana SpA - ha ricevuto un nuovo ordine del valore di 0,6 milioni di USD da un importante cliente statunitense.

Come anticipato il 29 maggio 2020, in occasione dell'approvazione dei risultati annuali 2020, l'Azienda nel corso di pochi mesi è riuscita ad entrare in un nuovo importante mercato come gli USA, fornendo un cliente leader nel settore in quell'area.

• dichiara Pierpaolo Marziali, Amministratore Delegato di ILLA - che consolida una relazione con questo partner commerciale e conferma il nostro impegno nello sviluppo del business e del prodotto, su cui abbiamo speso molte risorse. Nel 2019 Illa ha avuto ricavi pari a 29 milioni di euro per l'intero anno, con un peso del cliente IKEA per circa il 50% del fatturato globale. Per l'anno in corso, fortemente colpito dalla crisi del Covid-19,prevediamo di chiudere l'esercizio intorno ai 25 milioni di euro, con IKEA che si attesta a circa 3 milioni di euro, rispetto ai 14/15 milioni di euro del 2019. Come detto - prosegue Marziali - costruire nuovi e, si spera, duraturi rapporti con nuovi clienti richiede molto impegno dal punto di vista industriale oltre che commerciale: ma pensiamo che questi costi verranno ripagati attraverso i futuri sviluppi con i nuovi clienti."

Illa produce da oltre 70 anni pentole e padelle in alluminio rivestito di antiaderente. Dal 2010 la produzione avviene nel grande stabilimento di Noceto (PR). L'azienda annovera tra i propri clienti alcune tra le più importanti catene distributive mondiali, per le quali produce prodotti a loro marchio. Oltre al cookware in alluminio antiaderente è anche attiva nella produzione di caffettiere in acciaio e nella distribuzione di una vasta gamma di prodotti per la cucina. Dal 2015 Illa SpA utilizza il brand Giannini, noto marchio del cookware italiano "design oriented". Nel 2017 il Gruppo Illa si è quotato su AIM Italia di Borsa Italiana.
