Iluka Board Appointment - Ms Susan (Susie) Corlett

Iluka Resources Limited (Iluka) is pleased to announce the appointment of Susie Corlett as an independent non-executive director, effective 1 June 2019.

Ms Corlett brings extensive and diverse experience to the Board, with a career spanning more than 25 years' in mine operations, investment banking and private equity. Now a professional director, she currently serves on the boards of Aurelia Metals Limited; the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife; the David Burgess Foundation; and as a Trustee of the Education Endowment Fund for the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

A geologist by training, Ms Corlett commenced her career in underground and open pit mining with Renison Goldfields Consolidated (RGC) - an Iluka antecedent. She subsequently transitioned to investment banking, financing major mining and infrastructure projects in senior roles with Macquarie Bank, Deutsche Bank and Standard Bank Limited. Ms Corlett was most recently an investment director for the global mining private equity firm Pacific Road Resources Fund.

Announcing the appointment, Iluka's Chairman, Greg Martin, stated "Susie has a proven business track record and I am delighted to welcome her to the Board. She possesses a rare combination of operational and financial risk acumen; experience in the mineral sands industry; and experience investing in Africa. These attributes are an important and timely addition to the Board and support Iluka's objective - to deliver sustainable value."
