IMC has completed winter wheat harvesting

A total of 122 thousand tonnes of wheat was harvested from an area of 21.4 thousand hectares, the average yield is 5.7 t/ha, which is 25% higher than the average yield of this crop in Ukraine (4.55 t/ha).

"Weather conditions during the whole wheat growing season in the regions where IMC operates were very different, first of all it concerned the drought with no actual precipitation and extremely high temperatures in Sumy region during grain forming period, which negatively affected wheat yield in this region. But due to the wide geography of operations, in other regions the result was excellent, which allowed to reach more than decent yield. Moreover, from a technological point of view, all field operations were performed correctly and in a timely manner", - commented IMC's Chief Operating Officer Oleksandr Verzhykhovskyi.
