IMC has put into operation two new grain storage silos in Sumy cluster

Following the strategy on modernization of grain storages, in October 2016 IMC has put into operation two new grain storage silos at its grain elevator in Sumy cluster (PJSC "Vyrivske HPP"). The total capacity of two new storage silos is 15 thousand tonnes.

Modern silos of Italian production (FRAME) equipped with Canadian conveyors (HSI), from a world renowned manufacturer AG GROWTH INTERNATIONAL, were built for 3 months.

New silos have been installed to replace the old flat grain storages located on the territory of grain elevator in Sumy cluster as well as other old flat grain storages located within Sumy cluster of IMC.

"This project has several benefits for IMC. These are saving of logistics costs, optimal use of storage technology that involves minimal injury to grain and reduction of the total storage costs", - said Andriy Gavrylenko, Technical Director of IMC.
