Implenia CEO André Wyss was given a tour of the construction site of the new BSS building by the project team led by Oliver Lehmann and was impressed by what has been achieved so far in this project of the future.
Construction of the new ETH research and laboratory building with 600 workplaces on the Schällemättli site in Basel began in 2018 and is expected to be completed by April 2022.
The project is part of a portfolio that Implenia acquired with the purchase of BAM Swiss this May. Welcoming the new Implenia employees, Wyss explained the motivation behind the acquisition. 'Central to this acquisition is the competence of the employees. Everyone should actively contribute their skills and share their knowledge with all the units involved, such as facade construction or the newly founded Planovita ,' said Wyss. The acquisition of BAM Swiss AG strengthens Implenia's competitive position for upcoming tenders - especially for complex construction projects in the healthcare sector.
We would like to thank the project team for the warm welcome and extend a very warm welcome to you at Implenia!
