Indus Motor Company Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange about the recommendations made by the board of directors in the meeting held at Karachi on February 19, 2020.

The agenda of the meeting was discussion of profit and loss account for quarter ended December 31, 2019 which portrayed a profit of Rs. 985,754 with earnings per share 12.54 basic and diluted respectively.

Further, 60% payment of cash dividend, bonus shares and right shares was agreed.

Furthermore, the share transfer books of the company will remain closed from March 05, 2020 to March 11, 2020 (both days inclusive).

The company operates as a joint venture between the House of Habib, Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Tsusho Corporation of Japan. The operations of the company include assembling, manufacturing and marketing of Toyota and Daihatsu brand automobiles for domestic consumption. The company deals in the production of passenger cars, SUV's, four wheel drives and commercial vehicles.
