First Quarter FY17 Production and Revenue

Infigen Energy (ASX: IFN) today reported unaudited production and revenue for the three months ended 30 September 2016 (Q1 FY17) as follows:

Revenue of $62.8 million for Q1 FY17 was 56% or $22.5 million higher than the pcp primarily due to higher merchant electricity prices in SA and to a lesser extent in NSW, higher merchant Large-scale Generation Certificate (LGC) prices, and higher production.Production of 437 GWh for Q1 FY17 was 11% or 44 GWh higher than the prior corresponding period (pcp) primarily due to better wind resource in New South Wales (NSW) and South Australia (SA).

The average bundled price for the sale of electricity and LGCs was $143.71/MWh, up $41.21/MWh or 40% on the pcp.
