Rutger Wijburg is to become a member of the Management Board of Infineon Technologies AG and Chief Operations Officer effective 1 April 2022 (appointed until 2025)
Rutger Wijburg was born in Nijmegen (Netherlands) in 1962. He studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Twente, NL and received his PhD in 1994.
He started his career in 1990 at the University of Twente. Before joining Infineon in 2018, he held various leading positions at Philips, NXP and Globalfoundries.
