~The event, the only one in Japan specializing in financial innovation, is to be held next spring~

December 3, 2012
Information Services International-Dentsu, Ltd.
Information Services International-Dentsu, Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President, CEO, and COO: Setsuo Kamai; hereafter "ISID") will host the Financial Innovation Business Conference (hereafter "FIBC") event which specializes in the innovation (technological and service innovation) of
the financial sector. Starting today, we are calling for presenters (companies and individuals) for the main program, "Demonstrations and Presentations."
FIBC is the single event in Japan that focuses on financial innovation. This will be the second time the event is held. FIBC is an attempt to bring about discussion regarding what is necessary for innovation in the financial sector by bringing financial venture companies, financial institutions, and venture capitals under one roof for advanced financial service demonstrations, panel discussions with financial institutions, etc. Last year's inaugural event received attention for the 8 varied demonstrations with presenters ranging from leading companies to individuals. Around 150 people attended the event, more than originally intended for the venue. The height of interest for financial innovation among those in the industry was made clear, as
30% of the participants were from financial institutions. Thanks to how well the first event was received, the size of the venue and number of presenters will be expanded for this year's event.
ISID is currently extensively calling for presenters for the main program, "Demonstrations and Presentations." We are looking for "providers of advanced and innovative services in the financial sector" regardless of business size, whether corporate or individual, or experience in providing services. Presenters will be given around 7 minutes to demonstrate how innovative their services are. After the demonstrations are finished, participants will vote on their favorite services with the highest favored service being honored with an award. (For details on how to apply, see the next page.)
ISID has developed systems for financial services area targeted at individuals such as internet banking, personal loans, and marketing support for many financial institutions including major city banks. Moreover, ISID has studied the trends of financial innovation in Europe and the US along with the movement of financial venture business of Japan for many years. ISID has planned this event with the belief that IT (Information Technology) business should be involved proactively in the generation of innovation in the
field of financial services where IT plays an important role. We contribute to the growth of Japan's
financial service market by organizing this event and by supporting the creation and diffusion of "financial innovation" in Japan from the aspect of technology.
