Infosys Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 4,659 million compared to USD 4,250 million a year ago. Net income was USD 800 million compared to USD 774 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.19 compared to USD 0.18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.19 compared to USD 0.18 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 13,657 million compared to USD 12,031 million a year ago. Net income was USD 2,237 million compared to USD 2,211 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.53 compared to USD 0.52 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.53 compared to USD 0.52 a year ago.

Net sales break down by market between finance (29.8%), retail and logistics (14.5), telecommunications services (12.3%), manufacturing industry (12.9%), energy and utilities (12.6%), technology (8.1%), life sciences, health care and insurance (6.9%) and other (2.9%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: India (2.6%), North America (61.8%), Europe (25.6%) and other (10%).
