Infraestructura Energetica Nova, S.A.B. de C.V. was declared the winner of the Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) tender for the construction and operation of the natural gas pipeline from Ojinaga to El Encino in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. Under the terms of the contract, IEnova will provide the transportation services of natural gas to the CFE for a term of 25 years. The 205-kilometer, 42-inch diameter pipeline will have a design capacity capable of transporting approximately 1.4 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day.

The estimated investment is USD 300 million and the pipeline is expected to begin operations during the first half of 2017.
