InPost launches new "Easy Access Zone" feature

New feature in the InPost Mobile app offers additional convenience to users with disabilities

InPost, Europe's leading e-commerce delivery platform - has introduced a new, free service in Poland - the Easy Access Zone, designed to enhance the convenience for users with disabilities. This new solution makes it possible for users to choose for their parcels to be delivered to the lower boxes at the Automated Parcel Locker (APM), at heights between 30 and 150 cms. The option is available utilizing InPost's award winning Mobile application.

"We have been working on a solution to this issue for some time - now we have enhanced our mobile app to enable those that need it, to request lower lockers, making our lockers more accessible for all. The Easy Access Zone doesn't just improve accessibility, it also demonstrates our ability to leverage and quickly adapt our advanced technology to changing customer needs, and continually enhance the overall consumer experience . No other APM operator offers the same functionality." said Rafał Brzoska, Founder and CEO of InPost.

How to use the Easy Access Zone? One click is enough!

  • In the InPost Mobile application, in the details of a selected shipment, next to the question "Should I place the parcel in the Easy Access Zone?" click "Activate."
  • Placing the order is possible only via the InPost Mobile application, separately for each parcel and can be done no later than the moment the parcel is handed over for delivery, which is confirmed by the appropriate parcel status.
  • We will inform you by e-mail and directly in the InPost Mobile application whether the parcel has been delivered to the preferred zone.
