Instalco adopts long-term climate goals
The climate goals mean that in the long term, the company will achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions throughout the value chain by 2045, and in the medium term reduce the emission intensity of greenhouse gases in Scope 1 and 2 by 50% by 2030, with 2020 as the base year.
At the same time, the company will start measuring and reporting GHG emissions and climate impacts in scopes 1, 2 and 3 under the GHG Protocol.
As of next year, the company will measure and report greenhouse gas emissions, as well as other ESG data in accordance with the EU directive CSRD, which is also Swedish legislation.
"We have been working intensively in 2024 to prepare for CSRD compliance. This will make our offering to customers even more attractive, as energy efficiency and lower resource consumption are the basis of the services we offer. We also see an increased number of requests from customers and investors for measurement of greenhouse gas emissions and reporting of ESG data, which we will now be able to meet," says Robin Boheman, CEO of Instalco.
