Instalco strengthens its offering in the Industrial area with the acquisition of Liab Instrumenteringar AB in Karlstad. The company manufactures and installs control systems and automation equipment for industry.

Liab was founded in 1988 by its owners, Tomas Lundquist and Nils-Olov Lundquist, who are brothers. The company currently has 17 employees and sales of approximately SEK 36 million.

 

Its main focus is on manufacturing and installation of automation equipment to industrial and process plants. Customers are primarily in the pharmaceutical, paper & cellulose and oil industries.

 

"The acquisition of Liab further expands our industrial discipline, where we now have 15 subsidiaries. Liab is run by entrepreneurs with the right Instalco spirit, and the acquisition opens up new opportunities for synergies with the other Instalco subsidiaries in our industrial group," says Johan Larsson, Business Area Manager for Instalco North and Industrial.
