Dear
shareholders:
Having a sense of purpose rooted in the culture has become the main driver for the survival and evolution of organizations. Even more so during a year still marked by the effects of the pandemic and by adaptation to an ever-changing world, which continues to pose new challenges.
At ISA, having a clear purpose meant achieving excellence in results, transcending towards an increasingly deeper understanding of our relationship with the environment and its effects, and aligning each of our actions with the strategic determination to generate value that remains over time and that translates into progress, development, the construction of social networks, and quality of life.
We look forward to this year with commitment, op- timism, and empathy. All our efforts are focused on repaying our shareholders, each and every one of our stakeholders, and all of society, who have been expecting our contribution. We were aware of what each step forward meant at this important historical moment, and of the trust placed in us.
Today, the results of ISA and its companies reflect an efficient management that has once again achieved outstanding results, tracing a solid path of business growth, ensuring their validity, and demonstrating an active management of the performance of our stock, within the framework of the best environmen- tal, social, and governance practices worldwide.
With sustainability at the core of each of our actions, this year our ambitious, accurate management allowed us to make tangible progress in the transition to a low-carbon economy by developing projects that seek a cleaner energy matrix in the region, as well as by implementing initiatives that generate a significant positive social and environmental impact.

In this area, we can highlight milestones such as the awarding of the bid to build and operate the Kimal-Lo Aguirre line of more than 1,400 km, one of the most important transmission projects not only in Chile, but also on the continent. Likewise, in Brazil, the development of the first large-scale battery energy storage project in the country, where we also built the first digital substation, stands out. All of these projects, leveraged by innovation, aim at our great purpose of contributing to the energy transformation through the decarbonization of the energy matrix, transporting clean, environmentally responsible energy. Today, we can proudly say that 100% of the operations of our Electric Power Transmission and Telecommunications companies are net-zero carbon (scope 1 and 2). We are doing the same in the Road business unit, where ISA INTERVIAL Chile became the first company of ISA and of this business in the country to be carbon neutral. Also, our company in Chile received the Seal of Excellence from the Ministry of the Environment for its management of emissions.
In Colombia, the Ministry of Mines and Energy selected XM to carry out the third Renewable Energy
Auction, where contracts were awarded for eleven new solar generation projects for a net effective capacity of 796.3 MW. XM was also able to export more than one million carbon credits from Colombian projects through its EcoRegistry and EcoTrade platforms.
Another important step for ISA and its companies and for this sector in general was the
signing of the agreement that establishes the regulatory scheme principles for advancing in the Colombia-Panama energy interconnection project, which represents the integration of the Andean Community with Central America. This project will guarantee energy security for the region through a diversified, safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible energy supply.
Today, we can say that 100% of the operations of our energy and telecommunications companies are net carbon zero (scope 1 and 2).
