The company made this known to the CREG yesterday by means of a formal communication, ratifying its decision to contribute to the sustainable solution of the country's tariff situation.
ISA, through its electric power transmission companies in Colombia, ISA INTERCOLOMBIA, and ISA TRANSELCA, complies with the provisions proposed by the Ministry of Mines and the CREG (Energy and Gas Regulatory Commission), aimed at addressing the tariff situation derived mainly from the unexpected increase in the IPP (Producer Price Index) since December 31, 2020, contained in CREG Resolution 101-027 of 2022.
The purpose of this voluntary commitment is to contribute to the normalization of the tariff, maintaining the sustainability of the sector and its agents, thus enabling an efficient, reliable, and safe provision of the utility, based on placing the user at the core of the value chain.
ISA is committed to strengthening the sector, for which it will work hand in hand with the National Government in the development of proposals for the acceleration of the energy transition and regional integration.
