BENGALURU (Reuters) - India's IndiGo airline operator Interglobe Aviation reported a first-quarter profit on Friday that fell 11.7% as higher expenses overshadowed strong air travel demand.

The country's biggest airline by market share posted a profit of 27.27 billion rupees ($326 million) for the three months ending June 30, from 30.87 billion rupees a year earlier.
