InterGlobe Aviation Limited announced it has received a penalty of INR 500,000 from the Regional Director, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, Regional Office, New Delhi (BCAS) on November 27, 2024. Breach of Aviation Security Protocols in relation to requirements prescribed under Rule 51 Aircraft (Security Rules, 2023 and related AVSEC Orders. The Company is in the process of reviewing the BCAS letter/order dated November 27, 2024 and filing an appeal before the appropriate appellate authority.
