THE OUTGOING chief executive of British Airways-owner International Airlines Group (IAG) is in a relationship with a colleague.

Last week, IAG said Willie Walsh was retiring, to be replaced by Iberia boss Luis Gallego.

The Sunday Times reported that Walsh, who is divorced, is in a relationship with a colleague.

A slew of senior executives have left roles recently after concerns about workplace relationships.

However, IAG said Walsh's exit was not connected to his relationship.

A spokesperson said: "There is absolutely no truth in rumours that Willie's personal life had any impact on the timing of his retirement."
