NEW YORK (AP) _ International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) on Monday reported second-quarter earnings of $107 million.

The New York-based company said it had net income of 43 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.54 per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.42 per share.

The ingredients producer for food, cosmetics and consumer products industries posted revenue of $3.31 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.26 billion.

International Flavors expects full-year revenue in the range of $12.6 billion to $13 billion.
