Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC held a meeting where he summed up the results of investment activities for 2021.

37.3 billion rubles with VAT were invested in the power grid complex of the energy company, 5,816 kilometres of newly constructed and reconstructed power lines were put into operation, as well as 825 megavolt-amperes of transformer capacity.

As part of the approved investment programs, a number of significant investment projects were implemented in 2021. Grid control centres were put into operation in the Belgorodenergo, Kalugaenergo, Tverenergo branches, as well as a city dispatch centre in the Yarenergo branch.

Works on creation of the 110 kV digital substations "Mikhali substation" in the Kalugaenergo branch and "Vyezdnoye substation" in the Nizhnovenergo branch were completed. The main construction and installation works were completed for the 110 kV substations "Razvitie substation" in the Ryazanenergo branch, "Otradnoye substation" in the Voronezhenergo branch, "Novaya Lugovaya substation" in the Marienergo branch. Commissioning of the substations is planned for the first half of 2022.

Projects were implemented to create 13 highly automated Distribution Zones, including measures to introduce elements of distributed automation, digital radio communications and bring bases of the Distribution Zones to the standard state. The total number of such Distribution Zones is currently 42.

31 electric energy storage devices were put into operation, which makes it possible to improve the reliability and quality of electric power supply to consumers. A total of 35 devices have already been installed.

At the end of the meeting, Igor Makovskiy emphasized that the amount of financing planned by the Company's investment program for 2022 corresponds to the long-term objectives of the company and plans for the development of the electric grid facilities in the regions of presence.

"The main goal of investing in the power grid infrastructure is, first of all, to ensure the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers, as well as the implementation of important projects necessary for the socio-economic development of the territories. At the same time, to carry out the activities of the investment program, we use innovative technologies and the most effective modern solutions in the field of the electric power industry," stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
