As part of the work of the Headquarters, the progress of work on bringing the grid facilities of Tverenergo to a standard state, the provision of Distribution Zones with materials and transport, measures to reduce losses were discussed.

Before the start of the Headquarters meeting, the head of the energy company and heads of the executive office of the Companies personally visited the facilities of the branch's Distribution Zones. They assessed the progress of work on the repair of poles and replacement of wires, clearing routes of power lines of the 6-10 kV grid, checked the documentation, the equipment and materials in the Distribution Zones, compliance with industrial safety requirements, as well as the working and rest conditions of the personnel.

In total, work is planned on 1,384 overhead lines in the Tver region, which supply electricity to more than 9,500 settlements and 750,000 residents of the region. Since the beginning of the year, power engineers have replaced and repaired 1,832 poles, pulled over 85 km of wires. By 1 May, measures to improve reliability will be completed already on 553 lines, over 2,400 kilometres of routes will be cleared from trees and shrubs that threaten the operation of power lines.

Special attention at the Headquarters was paid to the elimination of technological violations in the power grids, which were caused by an abnormal drop in temperature and snowfall. Among the most affected areas of the region are the Vesyegonsky and Bezhetsky districts. Rosseti Centre's employees prepared in advance for the bad weather. Immediately after receiving the forecast from the regional department of the EMERCOM of Russia and the Tver Hydrometeorological Centre, the grouping of forces and means in the north-east of the region was strengthened. This allowed the power engineers to quickly start emergency recovery work and return the light to the homes of residents.

'The weather continues to bring surprises. On the last weekend of April, snow fell again, the height of the cover in a number of territories of the Tver region reached 15 centimetres. The power engineers were mobilized as much as possible and within a short period of time coped with the consequences of the disaster,' stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
