Interregional Distribution Grid of Centre : Igor Makovskiy inspected the Rasskazovsky Distribution Zone of Tambovenergo

Today, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, as part of a working trip, visited production facilities of the Tambovenergo branch. On the territory of the Rasskazovsky Distribution Zone he checked the working conditions of employees, the condition of motor and specialized vehicles, an emergency stock of materials and equipment.

The Rasskazovsky Distribution Zone entered the second stage of creation of highly automated sections of the electric grid in the service area of Tambovenergo. Previously, modernization work was carried out on the territory of the Tambovsky Distribution Zone. In 2021, intelligent switching devices will be installed in the Rasskazovsky Distribution Zone, and ring connections between substations will be constructed. After the completion of the work, the architecture of the grid in the service area of the Distribution Zone will change.

«This will mean that in the event of any negative impact on the power grid, the automation will transfer the power supply itself to backup power sources. The main effect of the implementation of innovative technologies is a significant reduction in the restoration time of power supply and the number of power outages, as well as a decrease in power losses,» stressed Igor Makovskiy, Head of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
