Intertek Presents in the Skill Council for Green Jobs' Sustainable Development, Renewable Energy, and Waste Management Webinar Series in Honour of India's 75th Year of Independence November 22, 2021

To celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India to commemorate India's 75 years of independence, the Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) is hosting a series of 75 complimentary webinars related to the sustainability industry. The SCGJ operates as a not-for-profit autonomous body of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of the Government of India. The SCGJ's goal is to identify the needs of manufacturers and service providers within the "green" businesses sector and implement skills and entrepreneurial development initiatives that will contribute to India's "green" businesses across the country.

Intertek expert Yi Hang Yu, Manager of Climate Change and Sustainability at Intertek Assuris, will present Getting to Net Zero Carbon Emissions on 3 December 2021 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM IST. His presentation will address the following questions and topics:

• What are the criteria for calculating a company's carbon emissions?
• The emergence of scope 3 emissions as a critical factor in net zero
