ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) _ Invacare Corp. (IVC) on Wednesday reported a loss of $10.7 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Elyria, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of 31 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 28 cents per share.

The wheelchair, crutches and motorized scooter company posted revenue of $225.9 million in the period.

Invacare shares have fallen 22% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $6.98, an increase of 2% in the last 12 months.
