INVESTMENT AB LATOUR Investment AB Latour (publ), through its subsidiary Latour Future Solutions AB, has entered into an agreement to invest in Plant An Idea AB ("Plant").
Plant offers climate calculations in property projects and climate declarations for environmental certification of properties. By using the company's software throughout the construction process, all involved industry stakeholders can collectively work towards reducing climate impact until the property is completed.
The company has developed a cloud-based platform that combines BIM models with machine learning and artificial intelligence to dynamically visualize a property's climate impact, based on various construction and material choices. The business was founded in 2017 and has its headquarters in Stockholm with 25 employees.
"Properties account for 40 per cent of the world's CO2-emissions, and Plant provides the real estate industry with the opportunity to reduce its climate impact broadly," says Pelle Mattisson, CEO of Latour Future Solutions AB.
"An increasing number of construction and real estate companies are benefiting from our software and expertise in climate-optimized constructions. With Latour as an industrial growth partner, we can continue to drive the company's development in Sweden and internationally," say Pelle Tunell and John Sjulander, the company's two founders and main owners.
The investment is made through a directed new issue in Plant An Idea AB, where Latour Future Solutions AB enters as a minority shareholder, owning approximately 13 per cent of the company.
