MILAN, July 28 (Reuters) - Italy's top telecoms tower firm INWIT on Thursday confirmed its 2022 guidance while raising its targets for the following year on the back of the linking of its contracts to rising inflation. Inuit's core earnings rose by 12.6% to 283 million euros in the six months to June, in line with an analyst consensus provided by the company.

Revenue in the period rose by 9.2% to 418 million euros, compared with analysts expectations of 417 million euros.

"The 2022 guidance is confirmed. The 2023 guidance has improved as a result of the changed inflation scenario and the indexation of the company's contracts to this variable," the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Elvira Pollina Editing by Keith Weir)
