IPS, Inc. is mainly engaged in telecommunications business. The Company operates through four business segments. The International Telecommunications segment is in the provision of international connectivity and Internet bandwidth from the Philippines to Hong Kong, Japan and North America. The Domestic Telecommunications segment is in the provision of telephone calling service, it is also engages in sales of call center systems to call center operators. The Filipino Residents Related segment is engages in dispatching of Filipino residents to nursing care homes or other facilities. It also engages in customer development and promotion projects that mainly support sales of mobile phones for Filipino residents. The Medical and Cosmetic segment engages in medical treatment, including ophthalmologic examination such as myopia correction by LASIK surgery, cosmetic dermatology and cosmetic surgery.
