WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) _ IRadimed Corp. (IRMD) on Thursday reported a second-quarter loss of $2.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Winter Springs, Florida-based company said it had a loss of 17 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 5 cents per share.

The maker of IV devices that can be used in MRI machines posted revenue of $6.8 million in the period.

IRadimed shares have dropped roughly 1% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 29% in the last 12 months.
