NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Rio de Janeiro, August 30, 2022 - IRB-Brasil Resseguros S.A. (B3: IRBR3) ("IRB Brasil RE" or "Company") informs the market and its shareholders that it signed, on yesterday's date, with the Serviço de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - SEBRAE/RJ, the final public deed for the sale and purchase of the building where the Company's headquarters are currently located, at Avenida Marechal Câmara, nº 171, in the City of Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro, for the total amount of R$ 85.3 million, fully paid on such date ("Deed of Sale and Purchase").

As part of the sale process, IRB Brasil RE and SEBRAE/RJ agreed to jointly occupy the building until 12.31.2022. Therefore, the Company is evaluating possible properties/addresses for the installation of its new headquarters in the City of Rio de Janeiro.

The conclusion of the sale process of said property is part of the strategy of improving the Company's capital structure, the continuous improvement of its administrative and operating expenses, as well as in the adaptation of its offices to the current hybrid work model.
