The board of directors of Ircon International Limited at its meeting held on 18 December, 2024, inter-alia, has approved the appointment of Shri Alin Roy Choudhury, Chief General Manager (Finance) as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company with effect from 1st January, 2025 vice Shri B. Mugunthan who will be repatriated to the Ministry of Railways with effect from 31st December, 2024. Shri Alin Roy Choudhury is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) with over 30 years of extensive experience in the infrastructure and construction sector. He has been associated with Ircon International Limited for the past 27 years and currently serves as the Chief General Manager (Finance) of the company.
He brings expertise in both domestic and international projects, including his significant contributions to prestigious projects like Sri Lanka Rail Projects and Ethiopia Road Project. He has successfully spearheaded the implementation of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and the FICO module of SAP S4/HANA within the organization. Earlier, Shri Roy Choudhury gained valuable experience in diverse domains such as Business Development, Treasury, Corporate Finance, and liaising with Statutory, Internal, and CAG Auditors.
He also served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ircon Gurgaon Rewari Highway Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of IRCON. He is also Director in Ircon Haridwar Bypass Limited one of Ircons' wholly owned subsidiary company.
