IS DongSeo Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A010780) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 10,000 million worth of its shares pursuant to a contract with KB Securities Co., Ltd. and Shinhan Investment Corp. The purpose of the share repurchases is for share price stabilization and shareholder value. The program is valid till August 25, 2020. As of February 24, 2020, the company had 34,857 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and had no shares in treasury through other repurchase.
IS Dongseo Co Ltd is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the construction business. The Company operates its business through seven segments. Construction segment is engaged in the construction of apartments, villas, schools, museums, leisure facilities, residential-commercial complexes and others. Ceramic Industry segment manufactures and sells tiles, sanitary wares and bidets. Concrete segment is engaged in the manufacture of prestressed high-strength concrete (PHC) piles, concrete segments, general prestressed concretes, rail ties and others. Rental segment is engaged in the equipment leasing business.
