MONETT, Mo. (AP) _ Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (JKHY) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $61.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Monett, Missouri-based company said it had profit of 80 cents.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 78 cents per share.

The payment processsing company posted revenue of $410.5 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $410.9 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $296.7 million, or $3.86 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.7 billion.

Jack Henry expects full-year earnings to be $3.70 to $3.75 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.75 billion to $1.77 billion.

Jack Henry shares have climbed 36% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $197.67, a rise of 40% in the last 12 months.
