Japan Airport Terminal signs a MoU on business cooperation

with the Hawaii Department of Transportation

On 16 January 2023, Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation (DOT), which manages and operates Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. The two parties confirmed that they will utilize their experience and knowledge to work together to facilitate the further development of their airports in the future.

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport serves as the gateway to Hawaii, one of the most appealing destinations for Japanese travelers, just as Haneda Airport serves as a gateway for travelers to Japan. The organizations that manage these airports will boost exchange and cooperation and build an even closer relationship to contribute to the areas surrounding these airports, promote exchange between Hawaii and Japan, and further the development of the air service industry in both Hawaii and Japan. The two parties will aim to share their specialized knowledge and ideas related to airport terminal operations to ensure the provision of high -quality services. This, in turn, will further boost customer satisfaction at both airports and contribute to the growth and development of business and tourism in Hawaii and Japan.
