Japan Tobacco : JT launches new limited edition package "2019 SKY & Hinode DESIGN" from MEVIUS brand

To be rolled out nationwide in selected retail stores on April 18

Japan Tobacco Inc.(JT)(TSE:2914) announces today the nationwide launch of fifteen '2019 SKY & Hinode DESIGN' limited edition packages from the MEVIUS Regular series on April 18, 2019. Products of 'MEVIUS', 'MEVIUS Lights', 'MEVIUS Super Lights', 'MEVIUS Extra Lights' and 'MEVIUS One' lines, appeared in fifteen new packages, will be available in selected retail stores in limited quantities. The MEVIUS brand's popularity has been the main driver behind its leading position in terms of cigarette market share for the last 40 years(*2).

'While the taste and aroma remain unchanged, the '2019 SKY & Hinode DESIGN' packages depict the scenery of the sunrise illuminating the sky, embodying one's courage to move forward and take a brand new step,' said Takashi Araki, Vice President of the Marketing Group Product & Brand Division.
