NOTICE TO THE MARKET

JBS LEADS THE FOREST 500 RANKING

AMONG PROTEIN INDUSTRY COMPANIES

JBS S.A. (the "Company" or "JBS" - B3: JBSS3; OTCQX: JBSAY) in accordance with the terms of CVM Instruction No. 358, dated January 3, 2002, as amended, communicates to its shareholders and to the market in general that it has been rated by the Forest 500 Ranking as the Brazilian protein industry company with the lowest risks of engagement in deforestation in its operations. The Company also figured among the top three best-ranked companies in Brazil considering all economic sectors and, within the global scope, JBS was one of the 40 best-placed among the 500 companies comprising the 2020 ranking.

The Forest 500 Ranking has been prepared annually since 2014 by the British environmental organization Global Canopy, a think tank that compiles and analyzes data of companies that operate in supply chains with the risk of deforestation, such as palm oil, soy, cattle, wood, and paper and pulp. Thereafter, it verifies whether the companies are addressing the deforestation risks through their policies and what they are doing to implement their commitments to sustainability.

"This result is further recognition of the good socioenvironmental practices employed by JBS in its production processes. Furthermore, it demonstrates that our commitment to quality production in an increasingly sustainable manner is being well received globally", says Márcio Nappo, Sustainability Director of JBS.
