The consultant will be an advisor to the Company's senior management, which is also turning to the Women's 360 Movement (MM360) for experiences in how to expand equity

São Paulo, March 10, 2021 - JBS Brazil has just hired the consulting services of Rachel Maia to bolster its actions in diversity and inclusion. Rachel was the first black woman to head up the operations of multinational brands in Latin America. She is currently also the Chairman of the Consultative Council of UNICEF in Brazil.

Rachel Maia will develop the social literacy of the senior management of JBS on issues related to racial equity, gender and PwD. RM Consulting will oversee implementation and execution of projects involving diversity and inclusion, including initiatives undertaken by affinity groups.

Additionally, JBS has joined the Women's 30 Movement (Movimento Mulheres 360) consisting of 63 companies scuh as Cargill, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Natura, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Santander, Unilever and Walmart, to foster diversity and expand the participation of women in the corporate environment.
