Robot Nederland B.V. (a member of Jenoptik's Traffic Solutions division) recently has been awarded a tender to deliver up to 225 mobile speed measurement systems to the police forces in the Netherlands.
As of December this year, Jenoptik will start delivery of
the successful MULTANOVA MultaRadar CD mobile speed
measurement system with a radar sensor capable of capturing
high-resolution images of offending vehicles regardless of
time of day or weather conditions. The system will be
delivered in several versions; as rear or front mounted
in-vehicle unit and as a tripod system. Robot Nederland
takes on responsibility for the system in car installations
as well as service and maintenance.
"We are very pleased we were able to offer the suitable
enforcement solution in order to win this very important
contract with our good next door neighbours" says Heinz
Marburger, Head of International Sales.
As a leading company in traffic enforcement
