Rudolf Humer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JENOPTIK AG, and Christian Humer, member of the Supervisory Board, have today resigned their seats on the JENOPTIK AG Supervisory Board with effect from June 30, 2015. Both are representatives of the ECE Group based in Vienna.

"After the complete sale of the Jenoptik shares by ECE Industriebeteiligungen GmbH at the end of March, this is a logical step and takes into account the changed share ownership," comments Rudolf Humer on the resignation. He continues: "Personally, I feel a very close connection with the company and also with the Executive Board of JENOPTIK AG and have greatly valued the open and constructive dialogue on corporate and strategic issues. I am certain that the company will continue to develop successfully in the future." Rudolf Humer has been Chairman of the Jenoptik Supervisory Board for the past seven and a half years.

The Supervisory Board, Executive Board and employees of the Group would like to take this opportunity to thank Rudolf Humer and Christian Humer for their committed and dedicated work on the Jenoptik Supervisory Board. "In recent years, Rudolf Humer and Christian Humer have played an active part in transforming Jenoptik into a profitable, internationally focused technology group, and have helped with the strategic realignment of the Group to provide the necessary foundations for profitable growth," says Dr. Michael Mertin, President & CEO of Jenoptik.

The process for finding new candidates for the Supervisory Board has already begun and is expected to be completed by the middle of the year. The candidates proposed by the Supervisory Board are then to be appointed by the court for the period up until election by the next Annual General Meeting in 2016.
