Jiajiayue Group Co., Ltd. (SHSE:603708) signed an agreement to acquire an additional 28% stake in Hebei Jiajiayue Chain Supermarket Co., Ltd. from Zhangjiakou Wanquan Fuxiang Shopping Plaza Co., Ltd. and Chen Guocheng for CNY 56 million on September 16, 2021. Jiajiayue Group Co., Ltd. will acquire 20.34% and 12.66% stake from Chen Guocheng and Zhangjiakou Wanquan Fuxiang Shopping Plaza Co., Ltd. respectively. Post completion, Jiajiayue Group Co., Ltd. will hold 95% stake of Hebei Jiajiayue Chain Supermarket Co., Ltd. As of June 30, 2021, Hebei Jiajiayue Chain Supermarket Co., Ltd. has reported total assets of CNY 629.46 million and net assets of CNY 95.23 million. The Board of Directors of Jiajiayue Group Co., Ltd. has approved the transaction while its shareholder's approval is not required.
JIAJIAYUE GROUP CO., LTD. is a China-based company principally engaged in the operation of chain supermarkets. The Company mainly operates general supermarkets and hypermarkets. Its main products include cosmetics, maternal and infant supplies, food and beverage, grain and oil, fresh food, daily necessities, home cleaning products, as well as local specialty products. The Company mainly operates its business in Weihai, Yantai, Qingdao, Laiwu, Jinan, linyi and Zibo, Shandong Province.
