Jiangsu Huaxicun Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 558.354 million compared to CNY 715.744 million a year ago. Operating loss was CNY 180.263 million compared to operating Income of CNY 471.003 million a year ago. Net loss was CNY 158.272 million compared to net income of CNY 352.342 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.18 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.4 a year ago.

The Company operates through three business segments. Polyester Fiber segment mainly provides polyester staple fibers. Petrochemical Warehousing and Logistics segment mainly provides terminal loading and unloading, warehousing, barging transit and pipeline transportation services for liquid chemicals. Investment segment is mainly involved in merger and acquisition investment, venture capital, asset management and strategic investment. The Company operates its business in domestic market.
