Jindal Steel & Power Limited announced Appointment of Mr. Mayank Gupta, as the Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company, effective January 30, 2025. Terms of appointment: As recommended by the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and Audit Committee and approved by the Board of Directors, from time to time. Mr. Mayank Gupta is an All-India rank holder Chartered Accountant from !CAI and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) graduate from SRCC, Delhi University.
Mr. Gupta is a seasoned finance leader with over two decades of experience working with reputed companies such as GE and Maruti Suzuki and also start-ups including CarDekho, Ecom Express and Tata 1mg. He has led strategic finance, business development, and global leadership roles at GE, driving operational excellence, and transformative growth across diverse sectors and regions. He also have extensive experience in driving growth, ensuring strong governance, and enhancing profitability for technology startups across multiple sectors.
Consequently, Mr. Sunil Agrawal, who currently holds this position, will step down as Chief Financial Officer but will continue to oversee his responsibilities within the Finance function of the Company. The Company appreciates his valuable contributions during his tenure as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
