John Wood Group PLC said Thursday that it has agreed on a $600 million loan from UK Export Finance, the export credit agency of the U.K. government, linked to energy transition.

The London-listed consulting and engineering company said the five-year loan will be used to invest in low-carbon growth opportunities.

The loan was effective from July and is from a group of six of banks--ABN Amro Bank PLC, BNP Paribas, Citi, HSBC UK Bank PLC, Lloyds Bank PLC and The Royal Bank of Scotland PLC.
