JPMorgan Chase & Co. announced Kerri Schroeder has joined the bank as managing director and Pacific Northwest region manager for its middle market business. Schroeder has spent the past 24 years at rival Bank of America Corp., where she was most recently Seattle market president.

She held that role for more than four years before Bank of America in November confirmed her departure. Schroeder was a commercial credit executive and a credit products executive at Bank of America before becoming the bank's Seattle market president, according to her LinkedIn page. Before joining Bank of America in 1999, she worked at U.S. Bank as an assistant relationship manager.

Bank of America in December named Jim Morehead, who has been with the bank since 2016, as the new Seattle market president. Schroeder is working in JPMorgan Chase's Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries (MMBSI) business, which serves companies "at every stage of growth," according to the release. The MMBSI team offers financing, digital banking, treasury services and international banking, among other services.

It also has specialized teams dedicated to industries like health care, education and technology.
