£ England were reduced to just 116-6 on the opening day of the first Test match against South Africa as the Proteas' bowling attack ripped through the home side before rain caused play to be abandoned at Lord's. Just captain Ben Stokes (20) and Ollie Pope (61 not out) managed to reach double figures as Anrich Nortje got three wickets for 43 runs while Kagiso Rabada conceded 36 runs for his two wickets. Extinction Rebellion also staged a protest yesterday at the Home of Cricket over a Lord's sponsor JP Morgan's investments in oil and gas.
