Juewei Food Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 1,505.976 million compared to CNY 1,066.429 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 313.252 million compared to CNY 111.861 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 235.892 million compared to CNY 62.956 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.39 compared to CNY 0.1 a year ago.
Juewei Food Co Ltd is a China-based company principally engaged in the research, development, production and sales of marinating snack foods. The Company operates through three main segments. The Marinating Snack Foods segment is mainly engaged in the production and sales of marinating foods. The products can be divided into two categories, including marinating meat snack foods which are made from raw materials, such as duck meat, chicken and pork, as well as marinating vegan snack foods which are made from green soy beans, carrots and peanuts. The Franchisee Management segment is mainly engaged in the enterprise management and the provision of consulting services. The Others segment is primarily engaged in the container cleaning and provision of product packages, among others.
