Jupiter Fund Management : appoints Jasveer Singh as General Counsel

Jupiter is delighted to announce the appointment of Jasveer Singh as General Counsel.

Jasveer will join Jupiter in the second half of 2016 from Man Group where he has worked for 12 years, most recently as Group General Counsel responsible for legal and regulatory matters for the Group. Prior to that, he practiced in the Financial Services & Funds Group at Clifford Chance LLP in London.

Jasveer, who has 18 years' experience in the legal sector, mainly focused on financial services, will be responsible for all legal and compliance affairs at Jupiter and, as a member of the Executive Committee, will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Jupiter's overall business strategy. Together with the elevation of Jupiter's HR, fund operations and investment operations functions to the Executive Committee in January, his appointment fulfils Jupiter's stated aim to expand its senior management team.

Maarten Slendebroek, Chief Executive of Jupiter, said: 'Jasveer not only has extensive experience of legal and regulatory matters in the financial services industry but also how that can and should dovetail with business strategy. His appointment rounds out the expanded Executive Committee we have been developing and we are delighted he will be joining Jupiter.'
