Kadokawa Corporation (TSE:9468) acquired an unknown majority stake in J Novel Club LLC on April 27, 2021. Samuel Pinansky will became Managing Director of the company after the acquisition by the Company, Ichiro Hashiba, President of BW (KADOKAWA Executive Officer), and Kurt Hassler, Publisher and Managing Director of YenPress, Each states as follows. Maki DePalo, George Taulbee, Anna Saraie, Jordan Jensen, Bart Nebergall, Brett Coburn, Kerri-Ann Griggs, James Abe and Patrick Hanchey of Alston & Bird LLP acted as the legal advisors to Kadokawa.
