(25 May 2021 - Hong Kong) - Kaisa Group Holdings Limited ('Kaisa' or the 'Company', SEHK stock code: 1638, which together with its subsidiaries, is referred to as the 'Group'), a property developer established in Shenzhen with a countrywide foothold in China, is pleased to announce the successful pricing of US$300 million 11.65% sustainable bonds due June 2026. The offering has received overwhelming response from 139 institutional investors with over US$2.5 billion of book orders. Asian and European institutional investors accounted for 90% and 10% of the subscription orders respectively.

Kaisa Group said, 'A series of effective liability management measures including the exchange and tender offer have laid solid foundation for the issuance of long-term notes. The offering of five-year sustainable senior note has drawn wide participation from the investors, which will help optimize the overall debt structure of the Group, extend its maturity profile and relieve the short-term repayment pressure. The proceeds will be used for the Group's green and social projects, showing Kaisa's commitment in environmental, social and governance (ESG) practice.'

Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, China CITIC Bank International, Haitong International, HSBC and CMBC Capital are the joint global coordinators, joint bookrunners and joint lead managers; BOC International, Barclays, Guotai Junan International, Standard Chartered Bank and UBS are the joint bookrunners and joint lead managers; and Kaisa Financial Group, Fulbright Securities Limited and Hung Sing Securities Limited are the joint lead managers of the deal.

As of the end of 2020, the Group has obtained an aggregate of 44 Green Building Certifications with certified area totaled 5.60 million square meters. The Group has also provided numerous infrastructural facilities including roads, parks, schools and affordable housing through urban renewal projects, coupled with its active participation in public welfare, to promote its sustainable corporate development.
