This summer, Ural Federal University will host the Days of KAMAZ - an event to recruit students and industrial partners.

This was an agreement Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ PTC, and Viktor Koksharov, Rector of UrFU, entered into at the international industrial exhibition Innoprom 2022. To add to this, KAMAZ and UrFU intend to establish an engineering center to develop models of new engines, thus widening cooperation in engineering.

'Science, real production and business. Only a close alliance of these three things can arrange required preconditions and ensure high-quality education and training of skilled workers whom the present-day industry desperately needs. KAMAZ is currently solving existing production and business issues without failures, building high-tech vehicles in demand in Russia. And what makes us confident in our new initiatives is our cooperation with the country's best universities, namely UrFU,' commented General Director of KAMAZ PTC Sergey Kogogin.

'The primary goal for us and our key partner under the project of Advanced Engineering Schools is to set up an engineering center to develop models of new engines at the university premises. Among other things, the center is to solve training problems,' noted Viktor Koksharov.
